Welcome to the Strategic Grant Application Portal for community needs that fall within three designated areas: Food Insecurity, Housing Insecurity and Mental Health Issues. To more quickly respond to community needs, we have developed this separate funding application. 

 Designed for requests that are collaborative and/or involve organizations that are not currently designated as United Way of St. Johns certified-partner agencies, our goal is to encourage organizations to work together, be creative and/or to be inclusive of newer partners that are doing amazing work on a smaller scale.

 Intended as a one-time grant, this portal will be open throughout the year and it is anticipated that the processing time will be short. Please note, this is based on available funds and the number of applications received at any given time. Please allow up to six weeks with the understanding you will hear back from United Way staff within that timeframe.

UPDATE: For 2023, due to funding availability, we are only able to accept applications for mental health and food security.
