United Way of St. Johns County Announces CEO Mark LeMaire's Transition
St. Augustine, FL – July 24th, 2024
The United Way of St. Johns County (UWSJC) announces the departure of CEO Mark LeMaire, who will be transitioning to a new role as Vice President, Strategic Donor Initiatives at the Community Foundation of Northeast Florida.
“We thank Mark for his visionary leadership and wish him well in his new position. said Bobby Crum, Chair of the Board of Directors at UWSJC. “We are grateful for his contributions and look forward to continued partnership and collaboration with the Community Foundation of Northeast Florida.”
As UWSJC looks to the future, the organization remains steadfast in its mission to support its partner agencies and drive impactful change across the community. The United Way of St. Johns County Board of Directors will immediately launch the search for the organization’s next president and CEO, who will lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and service. Past board chair, community leader, and UWSJC board member, Kelly Green, will serve as interim CEO. St. Johns County School Board Chair and UWSJC board member Beverly Slough will lead the CEO search committee.
The United Way of St. Johns County is committed to continuing its support for partner agencies and community initiatives, ensuring that resources are effectively utilized to address the most pressing needs. UWSJC will maintain its focus on advancing the common good by focusing on health, education, and financial stability—the building blocks to positively impact lives in Putnam and St. Johns County.
